We’ve built a culture around the way things taste and how we feel in response to it. Imagine it. We went from trying mysterious fruits and meats, through trial and error, through discovering spices and salts, to something as grand as pasta and grilled meats and salads. Now when we do trial an error, it’s out of passion and not out of survival. It’s truly remarkable, and it’s one of the true pleasures in life.
